I am returning from the trip aboard the Maldives Princess. This was my first liveaboard and must admit that it was terrific. The boat was terrific, the food was excellent and the dive masters did a great job. So often, all businesses hear are complaints. But when the experience is this exceptional, they should hear the accolades as well.

If Ken says something about diving, I believe him! That’s the BEST value he brings to his travel business, he’s dived EVERYWHERE, seen the declines in some spots, and really knows what diving is like in a given destination. If I ask him, “Is it worth it to go to xyz?” He may tell me not to bother, or try this other hidden gem out instead, and he always steers me straight! Interestingly enough, the Bay Islands of Honduras were the place we met Ken Scarbrough. He stayed at the Laguna Beach Club in Utila with us years ago. It was a neat coincidence cause we’d been using his service for several years prior to that. He is a fun guy, and a pretty good UW photographer. He definitely pulls no punches, and tells it like it is!

This is our fifth liveaboard scuba diving trip in the past 5 years. The trip was Saturday to Saturday and ours started on 12-17-11. Galapagos Islands scuba diving is not for the inexperienced due to current, surge, and waves but the wildlife was not to be believed and the best trip I’ve been on so far. The ship was fantastic and the crew was the friendliest and most helpful of any boat I’ve been on…

Laura@Ultimatedivetravel.com was one of our dive travel agents, and they made our trip very easy and were a wealth of knowledge about the region and diving. Laura always answered my questions in a very timely manner and I would definitely use them again.
