Blue Lagoon Resort is located right on the oceanfront. It is located on 14 acres with scuba diving sites only minutes away. All 54 rooms are air-conditioned with telephone, private bath, small refrigerator and a balcony. There is a fully equipped scuba dive shop, restaurant, bar, and gift shop located right on the premises, making it a wonderful choice for resort scuba diving in Micronesia.
Diving into history is what Truk Lagoon is all about. Here you will find some of the finest historical wreck diving in the world. The eerie virtually intact shipwrecks are known as the Ghost Fleet of Truk Lagoon.
You will enjoy relaxing among the palm trees and gazing at the ocean, from your ocean front room. Sunsets are utterly beautiful to watch from the Blue Lagoon Restaurant. Wartime relics remain on the resort, from when the property was utilized by the Imperial Japanese Command during World War II.
Scuba Highlights
77 square miles of World War II wrecks is what you will experience diving Truk Lagoon. While diving on the wrecks you’ll see an abundance of coral growth, tropical fish, anemones, gorgonians, and eagle rays. It is also common to see Pelegics in the distance.
Location
Truk (also known as Chuuk), consists of seven major island groups lying within the Eastern Caroline Islands, about 617 miles southeast of Guam and 3,262 miles southwest of Hawaii.
