Located on the island of Vanua Levu, Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort Fiji is the epitome of a luxury scuba diving resort in Fiji. The resort sits on a 17-acre beachfront coconut plantation overlooking Savusavu Bay. Jean Michel, the son of the famed Jacques Cousteau, is the founder and owner of the resort which has a mission of eco-friendly tourism at the highest level – a dream Fiji scuba diving destination!
All bures are elevated to take advantage of the views and sea breezes. They have Vesi timber floors, wall to wall wooden-louvered, screened windows which provide excellent ventilation. All bures have a luxurious custom made King bed, single day bed, overhead fans, standing fan, private deck, writing desk, robes, French press coffeemaker, iron & ironing board and hair dryer. The bathrooms feature warm Italian tile surfaces, large double vanity, generous storage space and a separate shower. There is also a mini-bar stocked with complimentary bottled soft drinks & Fiji water in each bure.
Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort features just 25 bures (Fijian bungalows) delivering world-class lodging amidst quintessential Fiji island serenity. Slip into premier Fiji accommodations, with rattan furnishings, a plush king-size bed, over sized bathrooms, private deck, and bures with garden or ocean views. To enhance tranquility, the Fijian bures have no telephones or televisions, however there is complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access.

The Jean-Michel Cousteau Dive Center is a full-service facility offering a wide range of once-in-a-lifetime dive experiences. A 5-star PADI dive center with professional dive masters and instructors and everything you will need for your diving adventures.
Three purpose-built dive vessels can take you the many outstanding dive sites just 10-15 minutes from the resort and reach Namena, widely acclaimed to be one of the top dive sites in the world, in 45 minutes. A reef system just south of the resort is surrounded by mile-after-mile of unexplored reefs, with seemingly bottomless drop-offs, multi-colored soft corals, and perfect coral gardens supporting an abundance of marine life.
