Situated on the picturesque and isolated island of Birie, Papua Paradise is an eco-friendly SCUBA dive resort that combines comfort and service with the beauty of Mother Nature at her best! Highlighting all the essential standards needed for an ideal retreat, Papua Paradise invites SCUBA divers, snorkelers, bird enthusiasts and nature lovers alike to experience the pristine reefs and spectacular flora and fauna at the heart of Raja Ampat.

Papua Paradise features a total of 26 bungalows, inspired by the traditional style and built with local craftsmanship, without sparing the essential amenities required for a relaxing getaway. 10 deluxe and 16 superior bungalows rise above the water and showcase spacious verandas with sweeping views of the house reef. Ensuite bathroom, pedestal fan, mosquito net, sunbeds and safe deposit box are just some of the amenities added to ensure comfort and privacy are not spared, while keeping with the natural surroundings.  

Dining at Papua Paradise takes place over the water at Seaview Restaurant. Indonesian and International cuisine of the highest quality is prepared using locally sourced ingredients or produce fresh from the garden. Gangga Divers serves at the on-site dive operator, offering daily SCUBA diving and snorkeling adventures, with a house reef available for unlimited underwater experiences. Gannga Divers

Gannga Divers proudly serves as one the few full-service PADI dive resorts in the West Papua region. Safety is top priority, with an emphasis on customer service for their team of international and professional dive instructors. Dive groups are kept small, ensuring the ultimate experience for divers exploring the spectacular marine life of Raja Ampat.

Gannag Divers fleet of vessels were designed for divers in mind and range in size to accommodate small to larger groups. Each boat is equipped with oxygen, first aid kits, fresh towels, hot drinks, snacks and fruit, as well as VHF Radio and standard marine safety equipment, and a crew who are standing by to assist guest in all aspects of the dive.


The resort is on the north-eastern peninsula of jungle-covered Birie Island. Located just behind the larger island of Batanta (one of the four Rajas), and is about a 2-hour boat ride from the nearest West Papua port of Sorong.
