Emperor Serenity Liveaboard Dive trips To The Maldives

Part of the renowned Constellation Fleet, the Emperor Serenity guarantees professional cruise management and safe diving. At 131 feet long, the Emperor Serenity offers ample space for up to 26 guests.

The Maldives is a warm and fascinating destination, offering rich marine life and vibrant coral reefs teeming with activity. Schools of fish and playful dolphins are frequent visitors to these waters.

With 26 atolls comprising outer and inner reefs, the Maldives is one of the world’s most diverse scuba diving destinations. Spectacular channel dives attract marine life from the deep, leaving divers in awe. The towering pinnacles (thilas), rising from depths of 35m and tapering to 8m, provide perfect settings for slower, more relaxed dives.

Water temperatures average 27°C (80°F), and currents can reach up to 1.5 knots, creating ideal conditions for encounters with sharks and manta rays. Prepare to be amazed as you glide into the blue for an unforgettable diving experience.

Join Emperor Serenity for an adventure with manta rays and whale sharks in the sunny Maldives.

Itinerary

The Emperor Serenity offers a 7-night itinerary called “The Best of the Maldives,” and it truly lives up to its name! This trip allows you to dive at the most famous and spectacular dive sites in the Maldives during an unforgettable week of liveaboard diving across the Male and Ari Atolls.

This diving holiday takes you to the iconic sites of North Male, South Male, and Ari Atoll, where you’ll experience channels, drifts, and pinnacles. Here, you’ll have the chance to encounter manta rays, whale sharks, and a mesmerizing variety of marine life. Flexibility is key, as we don’t follow an exact itinerary—this allows us to explore the underwater wonders of the Maldives year-round.

The itinerary offers a mix of big fish encounters, including shark and manta ray dives, along with vibrant reef dives featuring reef fish, moray eels, and abundant macro life. Get close to the action at cleaning stations while ensuring the natural environment is undisturbed. One of the most renowned dive sites is Maaya Thila, a 30-meter-wide pinnacle that drops off to reveal sharks and a wealth of fish.

A night dive from sheltered moorings at Maaya Thila is highly recommended! Additionally, the liveaboard will aim to locate whale sharks, giving you the chance to snorkel with these gentle giants—if they linger long enough!

  • Lagoon: Each island has its own lagoon, typically shallow (up to 20 meters), sandy, and protected from currents. Great for snorkeling and scuba courses, but not as rich in marine life.
