Manta Ray Bay Resort

Manta Ray Bay Resort

The Manta Ray Bay Resort is a dedicated dive resort, designed and built by divers for divers. The resort features 35 air-conditioned rooms, with refrigerators available upon request, as well as in-room TVs and DVD players. Often referred to as “The Best Little Dive Hotel in the Pacific,” the resort offers convenience and comfort.

All dive facilities and equipment storage are just steps from the hotel. Yap Divers, located on-site, is a full-service dive shop offering all levels of instruction, Mares & Oceanic rental gear, and morning and afternoon two-tank dives to manta ray sites, reefs, and walls. Specialty dives, including Mandarin Fish, macro, shark feeding, and night dives, are available daily, with Nitrox offered for all dives.

Guests can dine at the Manta Ray Bistro, the island’s finest restaurant, located on the main deck of the historic S/V Mnuw, with stunning views of the lagoon. For drinks, enjoy freshly brewed craft beer or tropical cocktails at the Nautical Weaver Bar on the Bridge Deck or the Crow’s Nest Bar

Scuba Highlights

At Manta Ray Bay Resort, divers enjoy seamless access to Yap’s best dive sites aboard the resort’s fleet, which includes the unique S/V Mnuw, a historic schooner that serves as both a dive boat and the centerpiece of the resort. Guests can explore manta ray cleaning stations, coral gardens, and participate in specialty dives led by Yap Divers. The custom-designed boats ensure comfort and safety for every dive trip, with all facilities just steps away from guest accommodations
